How marketing can make the most of Dreamforce

A few suggestions you may wish to consider when you’re attending Dreamforce ’16
1. Too much information!
Use the Dreamforce ’16 Agenda Builder to reap the rewards of Dreamforce and gain access to all that’s on offer. There are over 1,600 sessions and 75 Circles of Success for example…You can’t do everything so this guide will help you choose between the best content.
2. ‘What’s on’ for Marketing
3. Where am I?…where do I need to be?
Dreamforce is huge and isn’t just confined to the Moscone Center — it’s all around downtown San Francisco!..So familiarize yourself with the different locations before you go – it will save you time and energy. Here’s the Dreamforce Campus Map to get you started.
4. Leverage social media
5. Ready for your close-up?
If you’ve got customers or partners attending Dreamforce there may be an opportunity to grab a quick quote or success story whilst you’re there…take advantage of the face-to-face, particularly if they’re based on the other side of the globe! There’s no harm in asking and they may be thrilled to be asked – you could end up with some fantastic material.
6. Snap some photos
A picture speaks a thousand words…don’t forget to take some great pics whilst you’re at Dreamforce…it’s fantastic marketing fodder for social and lets you share the experience with colleagues who weren’t lucky enough to attend.
7. Walk and talk
Why not have a meeting on the move…everyone is pushed for time at Dreamforce so why not suggest a walk and talk with someone you want to meet up with…it’s a great way to take in the sights of San Francisco, have an informal chat, whilst gaining some fresh air and exercise in an amazing location.
